The working group got acquainted with investment projects in the cities and districts of the region, the launch of which is expected soon. These include the project for development of handicraft and tourism in the city of Kokand, as well as the project of a tourism complex in the protected area of Karkidon Reservoir in Kuva district.
It is planned to implement 23 projects worth 172 billion UZS in Fergana region in 2020-2021. The launch of 17 projects worth 113.7 billion UZS this year will create 398 new jobs.
Implementation of investment projects in the region will increase the number of accommodation facilities from 174 to 256.
