The ceremonial launch of the investment project “Modernization of technological lines of the device for the production of propane-butane mixture and construction of a new line at Mubarek Gas Processing Plant” has left a vivid impression on the participants.
The total cost of the projects is $75 million, that make it possible to build additional capacities for the production of 62 thousand tons of liquefied gas and 22.5 thousand tons of gas condensate, which will be aimed at meeting the needs of the population and sectors of the economy.
Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department is one of the main divisions of Uzbekneftegaz JSC. The basis of the department’s activities is oil, gas and gas condensate production, preliminary preparation and sending them to refineries.
The department has 33 oil and gas condensate fields, 26 of them are active.
The participants also got acquainted with the activities of Zevarda field located in Mirishkor district. 321 billion cubic meters of natural gas and 51 thousand tons of gas condensate are produced in this field.
Booster compressor stations are being built at Alan, Zevarda, Dengizkul fields.
Booster compressor stations under construction will play an important role in development of the country’s oil and gas industry, ensuring fuel and energy independence and increasing Uzbekistan’s export potential.
