The loan agreement was signed on August 4, 2020. The total cost of the project is $84.78 million. Uzbekistan has invested $38.28 million, including in the form of tax and customs benefits.
The funds will be used to finance agricultural diversification – $39.8 million, to support youth and women – $5 million, to the State Fund for Supporting Entrepreneurship – $4.5 million, to modernize irrigation systems – $3.1 million, to develop the system of knowledge, innovation and agricultural services – $4.1 million.
