The event was organized on the initiative of the Russian Federation with participation of representatives of state authorities and business circles of the SCO member countries, as well as SCO Deputy Secretary-General Sherali Saidamir Jonon.
The agenda of the event included such issues as analysis of prospects for development of trade-economic cooperation between the SCO member states, prospects for development of the SCO dialogue on technical regulation and standardization.
The initiatives to expand the interaction of the regions of the organization’s member countries, voiced by the Uzbek side, were warmly received by all the participants.
Following the roundtable discussion, the parties agreed to hold such events on a regular basis.
