Special attention is paid to increasing the economic potential of the region, the welfare of the population of cities and districts.
According to the resolution of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan of August 24, 2017, Nurafshon was designated the administrative center of Tashkent region. Modern building of Tashkent regional branch of the National Bank of Uzbekistan has been built in this city. The building was commissioned on September 7 – on the day of the 29th anniversary of the organization of the National Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
