It was attended by responsible persons of the Committee, deputies, heads of national cultural centers, representatives of friendship societies and mass media.
The need for improving the effectiveness of national cultural centers by implementing a program of measures aimed at increasing the role and significance of national cultural centers and friendship societies in people’s life, developing cultural, humanitarian and friendly relations with foreign countries, approved by the resolution of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan of February 22, 2019, as well as strengthening the role of civil society as an important institution that ensures peace and tranquility in society, was noted.
Societies’ activities were reviewed, suggestions were made to eliminate shortcomings.
